hey fellow i-clubbers, here is my dilema.

I am in the Realm of buying a 74' datsun 260z as a project car on the side, but i needed to know if it is smog exempt. some people are telling me it is 75' and up while others are telling my it is 73' and newer vehicles that have to be smogged. i just a definative answer before a make my next move. any info is greatly appreciated.

oh, and mods if this is in the wrong section, please feel free to move it.

Hey bro all cars that are 75 and older are smog exempt. So go start your project

I think smog is grandfather'd at 30 years, from what I remember.

 

yea i remember reading that somewhere, but just wanted to confirm it since ive been getting mixed reports.
