Yawn.....is the sound of design studio in which this car was born, sorry gm, looks like a souped-up grand am to me......Yawn.
My god do the execs at gm want our business...guess not .
Advice to GM, Hire 21-year-olds to do the styling and maybe you won't churn out this crappy run of the mill cars that you are so infamous for.

Despite the fact it looks dated, its definatly the best GM product in a long time... I saw one in person, its nice, but ya it looks at least 5 years old. The lines are clean, the interior is nice, and it looks better than the camaro and the overdone firebird for sure.
The reason that it looks like a car from 5 years ago is because it is sold as a HOLDEN MONARO in Australia for about that time. . It was designed there. GM brought it over here and had to change the front end to give it the Pontiac look, but i like the HOLDEN a lot better (after seeing them both in person)and it performed better in Australia because they did not have to alter the weight distribution by moving the gas tank into the trunk to comply with the US crash safety standards, along with other changes.
Holden Monaro indeed.

I'll be honest, I think its better for Pontiac to be too conservative in styling instead of giving us one of those ghastly body kit cladded monstrosities. Think Grand Am, Grand Prix, or Aztec from a few years back. Shudder....
