Anyone have any info on this car. It sounds somewhat impresive.

What is the gentlemans agreement? The Japanese limit of horse power to like 276hp??

Does the agreement only apply to those cars sold in Japan or does it apply to their entire model line no matter where the cars are sold?

appliED to Japanese car in Japanese market.

Supra had 300 horsepower in states, 280 on paper in japan with same engine and 100 octane gas.
similar goes to Lexus LS
Infinity Q45 has 320 in states but 280 in japan.....

why i say applied is because it just came to end last month.

reading that article above, i agree that japanese automakers need to step up their development of v8 engines. they've done miracles with 4 bangers and v6's...it will be interesting to see what comes to our shores now that JDM cars can be designed & tuned beyond the 280hp limit.
