my first post here (I just bought a my03wrx).
like the new model ( i will trade in for the sti), but do you think they could take off that annoying and horribly designed rear spoiler (here's to hoping it's an optional item). Yuck.

Personally, I think the facelift is worse than the bugeyes, but most parts should be interchangeable from the 02 to the 03 to the 04, except, of course, the body panels.
So, no, the 02s will not be obsolete.
I find it sadistically fitting that Subaru would do this just 3 days after the big Evo hoopla out in LA

that happens to be a WRC designed spoiler... probably does some good. i would think that the car would come stock w/ the spoiler, but just my guess.
