My story for the day

I'm leaving my house to go to the store, and I pull up to the light at the eway on ramp, it's red, so of course, I stop. There's a few cars coming so I wait. And then the guy behind me in a truck is on his horn the instant the cars are out of the way. So I right on red, and the truck behind me follows, very close. He goes ripping around my right side on the shoulder, which is mostly gravel, tires spinning and all that. I slow down considerably to avoid rocks in the face, and I watch as he tries to take the shallow turn (still halfway on the shoulder). He gets completely sideways in the middle of the road, contacts the median, and rolls twice. So I pull up a little and call 911. He seems to be alright and climbs out of his truck, which landed on the passenger side. He'd obviously been into the strange brew, and tells me over and over again how dangerously loose that gravel is. Said he was in a hurry, but never really told me for what. Then he begins to bargin with me (promising cash) to tell the story that he just lost control and wasn't driving like an idiot. The cops show up, give him the sobriety test, which he fails, so in the patrol car he goes. So I guess the lesson for today is take you time and don't drive drunk. If you do, which I know some people insist on for some reason, at least take your time. Good luck everyone, it's crazy out there.
