Pop Quiz-Did Mercedes ever produce a rotory engine? If so can you name the model and a few statistics?

Mercedes C111 (o-60 in 4.7) I dont know too much about it but i guess it was a Four Chamber rotary? I dont see how that would work. Somebody get some more info and let me know whats up

it is my general conception that it never went into production. they built a working prototype, but scrapped it due to the horrible reliability of the early rotary engine design/build
