my friend showed me an episode on BEST MOTORING where they compare RX-8 G35 coupe s2000 wrx RSX type R and miata together. Not so impressive on the track. the finish order was S2000, G35, WRX, TYPE R, RX-8 and miata. But i dont' go on tracks everyday though. has anyone drive one?

seems about right. i don't think mazda intends the rx8 to be a pure performance sports car anyway. aren't they bringing over a true 2 seat rx7 and/or a turbo renesis rx8 in coming years?

the rx8 is just clearing the path. i'm excited

Isn't the next generation Miata going to be available with a rotary? I think there will also be a hard-top Miata. Plus, Mazdaspeed is working on a pretty sick turbocharged RX-8.
