But wait, there's more: I will try to post the page with the specks (from Road and Track) so that all can see. I could use a short course on how to do this. I have a decent scanner with this pc.

ps to AWNS729: I am across the river in W'chester, northern division.

I hit 220km/hr on mine.. I don't know how much is that in MPH. Mods are turbo-back, with Cobb Accessport on economy mod too....

I took a video but that only when up to 200km/h than I wimped out and let off the gas.

Here is the spec sheet from the Road and Track article I quoted above. This is now 3 years old, so read it with a grain of salt, or two. I made the scanned image as large as I could. If it is now readable, post a reply, please, and I will try another way.

I have an '02 wrx with an uppipe, downpipe and a custom Ecutek map. I have burried my speedo past the odometer I estimate just over 150 mph. I don't recall the RPM I was at and the other car I was with's (a Porsche 944 Turbo) speedo is about 15 mph too generous so there's no way to tell exactly.. Don't worry, it was a very flat new road, very late at night and we were by ourselves.

That's were I did 157mph. You can go fast, yes. But do everyone a favor, do it smartly.

Sorry about the scan size. I will try (later) to put it in a zip file and see if that works. It is a full magazine size page, unfortunately.

When you have a 2.5 mile stretch of straight 4 lane wide road that has no adjoining roads for the whole of it, the weather is clear, and there are no other cars in sight (in front of or behind you), I think you can call that situation safe. Whether or not your driving is safe is completely different.
