M3 or Suby???
Hey guess, this is a really lame question. I know the opinions are going to be biased here, but here it goes anyways. I can't decide between a 1995 m3 with a few mods or a 2002 subaru wrx that is pretty much stock. My bank is limited because I'm a highschooler, but I've saved up quite a bit. Can someone please convince me one way or another ?!?!?

I wouldn't even waste my time with a 1995 M3. Sure, they're not bad performers, but they have 240 hp, and don't have AWD. 240 hp is simple to get out of a WRX and not to mention the WRX will allow you the luxury of fun in all sorts of weather, plus it will be much more reliable.

i own a suby and have also driven my friends M3. I love M3 they are a sweet car. I would definately go with the M3 if you have the bank, but putting mods of any sort is going to cost you a pretty penny, even for the cheapest of bolt ons. If you want to have fun in rain or snow and feel safe however i would definatley get the the suby.

yeah modding DTMs are wicked expensive but if you had the money I would go for the M3, E36 is a super performer not to mention its a bimmer. If you live in the north get a WRX, your not goin anywhere in the snow with a M3.

Basically it was serviced when I bought it. After 2700 miles, the service indicator lights went out indicating it needed a service. After another 900 miles the annual service light came on. After another 3200 miles the service indicators had gone out again. I asked BMW if this was typical and they shrugged and said 'yes'.
The scarey thing was this was all regular, scheduled servicing. Who knows how much it would have cost if anything had broken.
I sold it after just 10 months because I decided I didn't want to keep throwing $$ at it.
I have also owned a 3rd gen RX-7 for 4 years, two MR2s, driven S2000s, Audis etc. I can say, for the money, the Subarus are awsome value. Good fun, practical, and not too expensive to run. Obviously, you can get cars that are quicker, handle better, have nicer interior etc. but all for lots more $$.

M3 or Suby
I think the Suby would be a better buy because it is a newer vehicle, AWD, and you can do a lot more mods to it without paying alot. Either one would be a good purchase.
