I consider myself a baker... As in I keep my fingers in many, many a pie.
*wink*
You may want to follow my progress here. So far I have got a 2.5L/tranny from a 03 Impreza, a NX shark nozzle kit, and a full 55 gallon drum of Tuloune.
Once I figure out where to purchase my exhaust/tuning system I will go for broke.
*cheers*

Uggh... now THAT'S depressing! I can't believe how many spoiled young people are out there driving new M3s!
I'm in advertising (no big drug dealer or lawyer salaries here) so I had to 'settle' for a '98 328i as my first out-of-school car.
But now the girlfriend figures she's waited long enough for her ring and housing in my area is really expensive so I guess I need to smarten up and lease something a little more 'practical'... ie. WRX.

JEFF...
Well how a man comes across his money, or how he spends it shouldn't be an issue other than to build an opinion with- not to cast judgment.
My first BMW was a 1993 318 IS that ended up geing one very quick M3 clone. Good call on the WRX. Now that I have legitimate income it's hard to find the time to tinker int he garage. Only 600 miles on the WRX, only mods being in the suspension/rollingstock areas. Lots more planned when fully broken in/familiarized.

Heh heh.. .my comments weren't my own -- they were forced out of me by that vicious green-eyed-envy monster!
Still, some of the posts referenced the fact that those who worked hard and earned their M3s will certainly enjoy them more than those who had ma and pa pay for em.
It's true that the majority of the owners did work hard for them, and to them I say kudos (and a fine choice!), but for those who had 'em given to them, I sure hope they appreciate (and care for) what they've got!

Cajones...
It takes CAJONES to admit you've got a green eyed monster on your back. But I think mabye a Bimmer forum isn't for you.
I am a recent forced induction/nitrous/coil over bimmer convert myself. Check out some of the forums I recently found...
1) www.i-club.com
2) www.WRXhackers.com
3) www.SpecClub.com
Bimmer boys watch out...

Huh?! I think I missed something. You're suggesting that I'm possibly not suited to a Bimmer forum and that I might want to check out i-club among others.
1st. I'm a proud BMW-owner currently.
2nd. I accessed this thread from I-club and responded there!
What'd I miss here?
