Are low 13's possible on dd STI?

looking to buy one and want to know if yu have to beat on it to get those times? also is the cobb stage II worth the money? and one last question what is the best part about the sti? thanks (oh and I have a cobra now and need a 4 door kid on the way)

Anything is possible with enough $$

I would go with the following which won't break the bank:

port the stock VF39 turbo
catless or catted downpipe
catback exhaust
headers

Engine management (Ecutek, Utec, etc)

An STi might be a bit small if you've got a kid on the way. They're fast, no doubt.. but a little tight when it comes to interior space.

my friend hit a 12.9 with just a downpipe! but his sti has a magical motor....dyno'd in at 275whp and 275tq with a downpipe and custom 3" exhaust.!!!!

it runs low 13's stock

Some ppl run 13.1xx bone stock on a well prepped track

yeah it is possible. if you add a cobb stage two for the sti then you should run 13.00 driving very conservatively considering people run 13 without any mods...

I agree, with race gas 100 or c16 you can easily with decent driving achive high to mid 12's

I just put a car seat on the back the other day and it looked pretty squisehd. The baby had like barely any room to move the legs. Maybe its because I sit back, i denno

there are at least 2 confirmed 12.9 runs BONE STOCK on STIs from last year. Remember, Car and Driver hit 13.1 with one and that was without fooling with pressures and leaving the spare tire and tools in
