Angry Legal Trouble

Hi all,

I just got my second ticket in less than a week. Honestly, its my fault - I was speeding. Reguardless, now that it has happened - what can I do to minimize the consequences? Up until now, my record is perfect. I am in Portland, OR and got both tickets here. Anyone had any success reducing fines/points/insurance consequences from tickets? How did you do it?

I figure a buch of STI/WRX nerds (like my self) might have some insight!

Thanks

Try http://www.ticketassassin.com/ . I have not gone through them but have heard some good stuff. Next few tickets I will try that.

Like Snohumper said, traffic school is your best option. You can take it only once every 18 months and of course with each course completed 1 point is taken off your driving record. A way do reduce insurance rates is if your a student. If you get like a 3.0 GPA or higher, your insurance will be like 20% cheaper than the original rate. The discount amount also depends on the insurance companies. Just some food for thought.
