wildbill what kind of interest rate are you paying? You didn't get your parents to cosign? I find it hard to believe that at 19 you had enough credit to get subaru or any bank to back you with 35k+. Not meaning to flame just wondering.

19 years old? either u won the lottery or your parents just gave u lots of money, fess up no ones earns that much money at 19, even i admit my parents bought me my car.
My dad has a good relationship with the bank and its owners. That enabled them to trust that i would pay(street credit kinda), plus ive loaned money from them b4 so i already had credit. I work full time and live at home for the time being. Interest rate is 5% and i sold my car to my lil sister so i had money for a downpayment. The only thing they helped me out with is the insurance, i was able to insure it through the corporation. But i still pay for it.

Alright that is understandable. Sorry if I sounded like I was flaming, but it seems that your parents cosigned for you(kind of). Which I respect someone that gets their parents to cosign for them and then pay it themselves moreso than someone who's parents buy it flat out. Have fun with your new car.

under your name yeah, but did your parents cosign? I know that subaru requires a credit score of 700 to give the good interest rates. And unless you own your own house or have fully bought a car before, by yourself, which at 19 I doubt you did. There is no way that you have a 700 credit score. At 19 with a year of building credit it is not possible. I am going to have my parents cosign on a car with me. I am 22, have 3 credit cards all in good standing(no money on them at the time), and have had a cell phone for 4 years. And my credit rating is not even close to 700. But good luck on your cars, I am planning on getting mine as soon as I get out of school next year with my parents cosigning.

wait were those comment's directed towards me?
Er i dunno too lazy to look back BUT
I am getting paid 20 an hour, plus 50 an hour for overtime. I put in 20 hours of overtime plus 40 full time.
You do the math.
Of course, it's just a summer job but I have lots of money saved up from high school cause I was going to buy an MR2 turbo used and I saved up since 8th grade, which is like 6 years of working hourly jobs and resisting the teenage temptations to buy cds and clothes
