cause I'm 19 years old and I just bought a WRX.

See originally I was saving up whole high school to buy an RX7. But I was like screw it and just put down the 12K I was saving up as down payment, and my payments are like 200 a month for this brand spanking new '03. Best thing is, I'm at college near home so I put the WRX for insurance under my dad, and I'm technically only the secondary driver. and so insurance is only 800 for a 6 month premium

HELL YA!!!

I'm just wondering, what's the percentage of people on this board who don't have a wrx but are saving up money and really want one? Seems to be a lot of them.

Cause I say to them: Keep saving! I've only been driving this car for 150 miles but it just puts a smile on face whenever I get in it.

I realize there are probably 16 year olds with this car too, and it would be soooo cool if I had this car in high school, but damn, 19 and driving a wrx. WOO!!! (just hope i don't crash is)

At least you realize you're lucky! When I was 19 I was driving a 10 year old Mazda. And I thought I was lucky to have a car.

Keep the shiny side up and study hard in school. When you finish school and land a good job you can upgrade to the STi and mod your WRX into a rally monster!

You are lucky, yes, but you have no manner. Watch your language, please, next time.

Car Info: 2005 WR blue WRX w/ premium package
yeah, i'm 19 as well and i have been saving my $$$$$ since i saw the 04 back in february of 03 at the chicago auto show. my friend got a used 02 wrx and i like it a lot. although, it is an expensive car to buy. i've been saving my money for a year now and hopefully i will get one next spring on clearance prices around 21k. Would it be possible to get an 04 wrx with the premium package around 21-22k? i'm hoping to make around a 75% down payment. thanx a lot guys
