+1 I too was 24 with a descent down payment. I owe 22g left on mine but Im about to sell another car I have and then bring it down to 10g that I have left to owe on it.

500/mo payment
300/mo insurance
+200/mo gas
--------------------------------

1,000/mo hope you can swing that into your budget.

P.S. I lived 2 hours south of Bellingham, and am hoping to one day be back there if I could only convince my wife.

Don't be stupid. Get a condo now. Sell the Bimmer and drive a freaking vespa... your friends will call you Trump when you are 30

Seriously, it's a hard decision. One of my friends graduated from college and bought a condo in SJ. Friends made fun of him for driving a crap old Ford Fiesta (a fiesta!) when he was making 70 grand. 3 years later he sold it, trading up for another Condo in a better neighborhood and making 40,000 dollars in the process. He plopped it down for a new G35 coupe in cash and then bought all the furniture for his new pad.

His fiance is very happy, to say the least

Decisions, decisions... you save now make more later, but delay the gratification.
