About $1,000 less than the regular model. The only reason for buying an RS though is to build a rally car. It has no AC, no ABS, no power accessories, and still only manages to weigh about 100 pounds less. Oh yeah, no radio either.

Actually the EVO RS is just under $26,000 so thats like $3,000 cheaper than the regular evo. And yes it only looses a little more than 100 pounds but it does gain a limited slip front diff. Motor Trend tested one 0-60 in 4.4 which is awesome considering they tested the regular evo at 5.0. Yes the evo especially in RS form would not be as easy to live with as a WRX STi but if I were in the market for a race car the RS would be my choice. It costs about the same that I purchased my WRX for. I would much rather have the WRX as my daily driver though.

$26,000 plus tax is another $2000 in cali.
total would be about $28,000 or so
WRX is still cheaper
but hey EVO RS is definitely one of the best bang for the bucks.
