well since some Mitsubishi officials were arrested, it might be a slim chance that the MR will actually come over.

Nah, the Evo is the only thing Mitsu has going for itself right now. They would probably sink without it.

Besides, buying an Evo isn't nearly as bad as buying an SRT-4.

right, but if mitsu goes under, they can't produce the EVo. cars require money. lots of money.

I think the only major difference in performace between WRX STi and EVO MR is the handling capabilities. But, I'd still go for the STi, since it is much more like a daily driver car, than that of the EVO (too stiff ride and trippy steering, how much more for the EVO MR?), only a meatier daily driver car.
