Exclamation differential poered turbo

I was watching trucks on the power block on Spike TV. And Tracy mentiond somthing about a turbo powered by the front diff. WTF??? How does that work? I am really confused on how that would work. He said somthing like no lag though. Any ideas?

I'm guessing she confused differential with pully and turbocharger with supercharger. Thats about the only way it makes sense to me.

I dunno how much this guy knows about cars, I've never seen the show.

EDIT: didn't know Tracy was a guy

tracy is actually a guy and Trucks is a pretty informative show. i usually watch but missed that episode so i dunno what he's talking about either. but whenever they talk about turbos on that show, they are talking about turbo diesel engines. and are you sure he meant the fornt differential, like the part thats attached to the drive shaft?
