Well its not the fastest car thats for sure, its a Convertable which totals out to be a 3900 pound boat. Plus I have an auto which will change when the WRX is bought spring of 03'. But either way my best run was a 14.01 at 98 or so and its been on a portable dyno just to get and idea it was putting 230 to the wheels nothin impressive. Also that grill i have was custom made if anyone is interested the guy is a buddy of mine will do all applications and has done WRX's he can do different colors and stuff. It will not rust either guaranteed. I have:

Steeda Timing Adjuster set at 14*

I just started looking at the site to learn more about the WRX, i only knew the basics. I need a reliable NON-AMERICAN car that i can enjoy and have fun putting money into. Now I havnt found a forum yet but how much would the STi run me?? I know the regular car with options would be about 25,000 i think for a new one. How much would the STi cost and would benefits come with having that version of the WRX? Thanks for any help

 

No price on the STi yet, but people are guessing somwhere between $30 and $38k. The STi has an STi cylinder head, suspension, transmission (6spd) and a few other goodies. It looks different (hope ya don't mind pink on your car) and performs better (stock for stock). In europe the STi has ~260bhp and in Japan it is rated at ~280bhp (but ratings in japan mean nothing and an STi may be putting out closer to 300). It's like comparing a Mustang GT to an SVT....to put it in american terms. They're both fast, but the STi is the king.

 

Well I would love to be able to afford the STi but it seems out of my reach. Thats unfortuanate it would deffenitly be sweet to own one of those cars. But ill make do with just the normal WRX its going to be fun.

FORD IS SO CRAPPY MAKE A DECENT CAR FOR ONCE HERE IS WHAT IS WRONG WITH MINE:

Top leaks water
Windows wont roll up all the way
Air vent fins are messed up
Burnt out headlight harness
O2 sensors went bad

This car is a year old, im sick of this sh*t

 

Subarus aren't any better

 

I would figure that subaru's are better than Ford? Are you being serious? I dont want to sell a problem to get another one. :*(
