converting 'hkpa' into 'psi' (was: Please read !! Need Help Quick !!!)

Question Please read !! Need Help Quick !!!

i need to know how to converter "hkpa" into "psi".

On me boost meter, i can only read "hkpa" i need to know how many psi of boost i'm running. Please Help !!!!

actually..sorry, that thread is MPa. Time for a new boost gauge, man.

14.5 psi = 1 bar = kPa = 101.35

But, if you will allow me to steal something I found off the internet: "Blitz boost gauges use a made-up unit called hkPa which is presumed to stand for "hectokilopascal" and is equal to 1 Bar."

So, at one bar (and one hkpa), you are roughly pulling in about ~14.5 PSI.

Do these numbers sound right? What are the max/min values of your gauge? If the numbers go from -2hkpa to 2 or 3hkpa, then what I describe is most likely the case.

why the **** they gotta use hkpa for, it freakin suck sometimes, but thanks for the tip nKoan...
