had conformed there car to us dot/epa .i have a *** soarer 4ltr ltd
and was wondering what is the cheapest way of conforming it?
I believe an ici will charge up to $15.000......the car is 11 yrs old,
and only worth $5.000...but i luv her.....
By the way i've just moved here [texas] from the uk..

a soarer, ay? this question has been raised many times for specifically YOUR CAR (!) over at www.clublexus.com/forums. you can go there and either search or post this in either the SC300/400 forums or the "Lobby" forum. good luck.

 

Thought u might say that! guess what,the guy's on the lexus forum r keepin stumped. some of them dont want to admit to havin a soarer,why?????? b cos it's rare....and they wanna keep it that way.....they want 2 keep the $ value high......a dozen more cars wont make a hoot!

hmph. sorry you had that experience. maybe people don't want to admit to having a soarer out here, but i sure as heck know that we've talked about the process of bringing a japanese car over here. I remember responding to one w/ a link to the US customs page on how to do that. It's in the Lobby, from no more than 6 months ago. good luck.
