car fax account?
you might know this already... but here you go again... Car Fax does not tell you much if anything. Numerous members here had checked their own car and their car had been in an accident before and Car Fax does not show ANYTHING. Good luck on your car buying experience...

Offer any suggestions better than a personal inspection? The more things I can check the better. Though I agree with your remark, I also ask why not at the same point.
The car is in TX I'm in Michigan. I will inspect the car on arrival but any added security is better than none.

Do you have AAA? they provide some VERY detail inspection for people who are planning to purchase an used vehicle. If not, have the guy bring it to a local dealership. It'll cost you some money, but I think it's worth it in a long run. Good luck
