Haha, just messin', but if you added up all the 6-figure supercar sales compared to 6-figure lux sales (i.e., Ferrari 575M Maranello vs. Bentley Arnage) the figures skew mightily in favor of the supercars. in the 75k-100k range, there are probably more luxury rides- the S500, A8, GS450, etc.

EDIT: Ok, for some reason, I read your post and thought you said in general people spend that way. Of course we're all entitled to our opinions and I wouldn't try to change your mind. I just like proving other people's points wrong, even if I'm the only one who knew they were making it.

People who usually can afford the MB S, SL or AMG models are likely able to afford other expensive sports cars. Their age tends to be a little older than BMW owners as well.

And of course MB definitely gets more OOH AHH factor in this society. Its a status symbol.

I'd rather have a MB than BMW anyday. But since I am not rich.. BMW will do for me
