Just wait a bit. I've heard that Subaru has something in the works similar to the Chrysler Pacifica. I love that design, but I hate the fact that its a Chrysler.

Not that it is in anyway fair, but I know for a fact that people just hate them. I've seen so many large SUVs being cut off in traffic, People don't let them in, etc.

In addition to being extremely dangerous for the driver and other drivers, the gas milage is terrible.

Alot of people dont look at suv's for the function that they serve for the individual. My dad, mom, and I take all the 4X4 vehicles we own off road, only 4% of buyers do that. My bro with the denali XL has 5 kids, so the room is needed. My dad also takes the kids quite often so his xl needs the room. The other bro with the SS is a gear head like me and likes speed and needs somthing to haul stuff aruound. All of the trucks also have to tow boats in the summer. Large SUV's are not dangerous, except for the Hummer. GM and ford have designed the front bumper beams on the full size trucks and suvs to be low and make contact with cars bumpers in the case of a suv hitting a car with its front bumper. The Hummer is safe for the driver, maybee not for others. It dosnt have crush zones like every other vehicle. The reason that one was brought into the family was the safety factor. Then it changed to just the off road toy. But I have been rear ended twice in the Hummer and didnt know that I was hit both times. The worst damage that the truck had was some paint from the other cars on the bumper. In both incidents the other cars were totalled. "Who cares about gas mileage this is america, bigger is better." - Most peoples thoughts. Personally I think that if you have the dough to cough up for the gas money kudo's to you and your big truck.
