I am noticing that at relatively high speeds I hear a high-pitched noise on the passanger side. It sounds like a windwhirl effect, except and it's really loud and annoying! Any one else have this problem?

 

Ur not the only one with that noise but there is sweet bugger all that can be done about it cause of the pillar-less design of the doors.

All ya can do is what jbazar suggests and crank up the music, thats what i do

pillarless design? do you mean the reinforcements inside the doors? i thought it had those...

Its the mirror and the passanger window.

Do this, Next time your zippin along: "crack" the window about 1/4 or fold the mirror in (Temporaraly)

It will magically go away.

I own a 03 WRX, and I have the same noise but after you hit 110. Then again once you bypass 130, the noise stops. HEHE the need for speed will cure the problem as well as moving the mirror.
