Who gives a ****? By that logic Toyota, Lancia, and even Mini would be considered awesome cars due to their past rally success, but they're not. Mitsu is DONE in WRC. They can't afford top drivers and they can't afford to race. They had hoped their new car would be competitive by now and it's not. With the financial troubles they're having I think we've seen the last of them. Personally, I hope they get their act together and put together a strong team, but it's extremely unlikely. And I don't care how much better the Evo is compared to the STi. If they can't sell them it doesn't matter.

What? What does respect have to do with anything? Hey, I respect Mitsu for their successes and for bringing the Evo here. I think it's a great car. I respect Toyota and all the others who have produced great cars inspired by the WRC. Respect doesn't sell cars. And all the respect in the world will not create a winning WRC team, as proven by Mitsubishi for the past 3 years!

There's a reason the EVO isn't in the WRC anymore... cuz it's a bucket!!!

I'd love to have an EVO... but I just can't bring myself to buy a Mitsu... Mitsu of america = morons that need to fall into a volcano.

Mitsu has been having a few bad years in WRC and have now droped out..Hell did they even run in the ralley japan? I don't remember even if it was on last weekend.. I do agree what matters is what the word is on the street when its driven by the average owner/ auto nut who actually drive them..(unless you own an evo and get your crap voided when the car is used for what it was made for)...
I will say that the subaru design should still have a 2 door in the line up..this 4 door stuff isn't for me.
JspecGC8....nice to see another misawa person..so how do you like J-draw? or are they still playing booty music?...No I'm not there anymore. PM me I need a phone number for someone that works on base.
No, Mitsu didn't run Rally Japan as they're out for the season. Subaru being the only Japanese manufacturer at home won.

Car and Driver estimated that the price would be $35,000 or so not $32,000

1. i must admit that the evo is a better performer...by a slightest of margins. i love the evo. i just love STi's more. and i won't beat this evo/STi debate further into the ground as they are both awesome opponents.(a.k.a. ford versus chevy)

2.in terms of problems i'd have to say that Subaru has never suffered the tarnish of Mitsubishi. and never has Subaru had a Corporate cover-up(where the president of the company is directly responsible) like Mitsu--->Mitsubishi Problems

one positive note for Mitsubishi is that when the MR finally hits our shores it will possibly help boost their image... hoping to end their financial woes<----type that in Google!

sorry, a little off subject

but i think it applies here if the Spec C ever hits our shores...

oh, and btw, the Forester XT owns the Endeavor!
