Things to do in Vancouver...
I'm going to be going on a road trip from San Francisco to Vancouver on May 20th for a few days with a couple of friends to hang out for the weekend. I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips on where to go or what to do. I'm comming up for an event that weekend, but i wanted to see whats there to do for fun aside from that...
Its my first road trip in my WRX, so it should be fun. Any input would be apprecieated.
thanks

DLUX WRX,
It really depends on what you concider fun. A day up at whistler is always fun, even if you're not going for skiing or boarding it's a cool village to walk around and shop, plus the drive is awesome.
If you're the sporty type, rollerblading around stanley park is fun, you can rent a skates or a bike.
Let us know what you're into.. you might also want to post on nazico, there are more folks there.
If the canucks are still in the playoffs and we loose, you can join the riots.

Well, the main reason for the trip was so my friends and I could check out the Blunt Bros World cup. I think thats what they called it. I wanted to know how the night life was in Vancouver... what clubs to go to, or what hang out spots to chill at. I'll be in Vancouver for two nights, fri and sat night.

gas town is right next to blunt bros. and theres a whole bunch of clubs in the area, it all depends on your taste, some are dress to impress, some are rave style, others are just big bars and pool halls, you wont have a problem finding a club, when in doubt as a bum thats what we did, that bum knew everything
