thx for all the good advice guys~ i sure need some. i'm totally stressed out...sigh... there's about $5000 damage to him and front is shifted to the left. slight structural damage. man, that's serious. my poor poor baby.
yeha. my friend told me that there was an accident at the same intersection yesterday... that intersection IS bad luck. i just happened to be there at the wrong time. that's life.
now that i compare w/ the other kits... mine does look pretty pretty. yeah... no hassle. so i'll just keep the v4.
i think i'm gonna get the 18mm swaybar from either subaru or whiteline...w/ whiteline end links...is FHI good?
wow. there's so much to learn. i'm glad to have met you guys. thank-you so much again!

I dunno about having a 20mm bar on stock suspension Bruce.. Might be a bit too much.. the back end will snap out during a turn with rear to front weight transfer.. (speaking from experience.. hehe.. handling was so much more neutral on 20mm with Whiteline springs)

I wasn't going to jump in on the swaybar size since I have an 02 wagon, but I also suspect 18mm would be the better choice. FHI is fine, as is whilteline. I've got a Whiteline 18-22 adjustable, and 20mm was a bit much on my car. I settled on 19, but dialed it back to 18 for the winter. I stuck with the stock links and mounts.
FHI is fine. You're cheapest solution would be to buy a used swaybar from an 02-03 WRX wagon (17mm) or from an 04 WRX (18mm?). They should be under $100 for a used one. The 02-03 WRX sedan has a 20mm swaybar.

u are looking for V4 bumper from japan ..? oh man .. i think it is expensive to ship the bumper over from japan ..?
i got my V5 bumper from dealership in a cheap price in edmonton...
i got it in around 300 and and vbar is about 270 .... so i think it is not expensive if u compare to those aftermarket body kit....

it's because of the uniqueness of v4, that's why i'm keeping it and wanting it so bad. many ppl told me to switch to v5, but everyone has it. or i'll go for c-west or something. but it only looks good with the full kit. hmm.
shipping is very expensive. icbc's willing to pay up to 650, but just the bumper will cost over 1100 w/ shipping. so i'll have to pay 500 extra. sigh. that's excluding the taxes.
your v5 bumper sounded like a good deal! i gotta look around for other parts. i'm going to get side skirt and maybe rear underspoiler. i just got my v5 spoiler yesterday. pretty happy!

Have parts for sale
Hi, I just had to sell my car (MY99 RS) for a mini van (growing family).
I have an FHI 18mm swaybar I got from SPD a few years ago, it is like new, 6 months of use $75 with bushings. Also have new whiteline "super low"springs never used $200 and front whiteline strut brace $80, if you may be interested?
Sorry to hear about you accident, at least you will have your car back-I miss mine already
I spent a fair bit getting the RS to be set up "just right" so I can make some good recomendations depending on weather you auto-x or just street drive.
