hey mynxi
mynxi, I highly recommend that you buy Michelin all-seasons if you're looking for some good all season tires. The ones on my car are about a year old, and they work perfectly for any weather, except ice.
But yeah, if you don't drive stupid fast on wet and snow, you should be fine.

oh... first class to grad. how special :P
yeah my car is always parked right in front of nagano if i work. i always take that spot... just to keep an eye on him. i work on weekends mornings now, so it's always there from 11-3 30 pm. i've been working there for over a year and a half, so i could've been me. mine's silver, MY99 2.5RS...
michelins are pretty good, i had michelins before i got these stock re92s back. i really need to get myself some soon. and my brake pads. hmm.
but i can't afford a different set of tires... no $$$

MY99 2.5RS eh? Yeah, it's probably yours. Planning to get a MY99 myself. Suggestions?
Other than Michelin's, has anyone had any good all-seasons? I still love the Michelin's, but maybe there's an alternative?

There's always Dunlop or Pirellis. Just find the one you're happy with cause they all have their own good points and bad. Or find the one you can get the best deal on.

Here's a nice link of the best all season tires out there. I am on my second pair of Pirelli P7000 SS and I find they do a nice job for the price even though they are loud. Anything listed above the Pirellis is obviously better but there is no need to spend so much since I know I won't be pushing the car hard anymore. The 16" P7000 I used to use are W rated while the 17" P7000 I have now are Z rated. Prices arel ike anywhere from 120-150 for 16" I think. Depends what deals you can find on them locally.
The letter ratings determine the maximum speed you can use on those specific tires. W rated = 270km Z rated = 240km
You'll never reach close to those speeds anyways

Hi mynxi
You go to UBC too?
Which parkade?
I am currently using Dunlop SP5000
Pretty good allseason tires.
The price I think is a bit less than the stock RE92's
Reasonable for replacement.
Try asking bender (OK Tire on Marine Drive and Oak) for a good deal for you.
By the way, nice to meet you
Mike~~

yeah, i am in year 4 now, hopefully will grad in next May.
i park at Fraser, saw a few GC there last year
but only 2 GC this year including mine, but quite a few GDs
and i just saw an STi there, very clean look.
about the SP5000, i got it last december
u know there wasn't too much snow last year, so i still don't know how it would be on snow.
hope i can try it this yr
