Hey this is for the people with 8528, tilt, HTC phones that accepts 3g.

Do u use the data plan from att for 39.99

or

the Media Max plans ranging 19.99/29.99. ?


How do you rate the internet connection?

 

Oh and by the way, the data plans are made for the PPC's... cingular just doesnt want u to use the PPC with media max..

 

go online and change it to 19.99, no one will care.

 

I know that, but i want to know the difference between the data connect and media max being that they both are 3g. And how is the connect like compard to the older edge connection.

 

supposedly with data connect, you're on isp.cingular.net whereas with media plans, you connect to wap.cingular.net and is slower.

however, you can go mediamax and manually change your connection settings to the isp but run the risk of getting "flagged."

i've tried both and didn't see any noticeable speed changes.

3g is way freaking fast compared to edge.

nope, on the 19.99 unlimited data + 200 text messages plan.

 

I'm on the unlimited data plan that has 1500 messages with it. it's definitely sweet.

 

i pay like 67 bucks a month with 450 anytime mins/ 5000 nights & weekends with unlimited internet, text, email.

im using the blackjack and its way fast when its on the 3g network. at times, my phone will go between the edge and 3g network.

 

same plan but get corporate discount on my bill

67 bux? wow thats cheap. some how mine is around 80 a month w/ gov't discount.
