I keep a print out of the Ca Law that states Modified exhaust is legal as long as it maintains the catalac converters on the vehical and meets the 95db limit. I am sorry but your exhaust is Greddy which is in compliance with California. So you need to go to court for this one. No fix it ticket for you dude. your legal, unless you have no cats, I take all that back White smoke in cold night weather is condensation burning, oil burning is black smoke or blue haze smoke. So thats an easy explanation. That cop Failed, by being negligent of the law which she wrote you that ticket. Court house please.

 

I was pulled over by a CHP woman cop who gave me a ticket for modified exhaust. Not because it's loud, cause the muffler itself is modified. So apparently the 50,000 SUVs and trucks running around with the exhaust running straight back is stock right? Sometimes they just hassle you, just to hassle you.

 

i feel for you, but at the same time law, i think you should be happy that she didnt try to send you to state ref... i was sent to state ref when my car was bone stock!

if i was running my old apexi' gt spec or something, then i would deserve this ticket. but its retarded how i got this ticket because it was based of "stuff coming out of my exhaust, and therefore it's not meeting compliance". Not once did she state my exhaust was TOO LOUD.

Some lady pulled me over and said "your exhuast is making a pfsshhhh noise when you shift". I said "Woman that's my blow off valve". She said "No it's your exhuast here's a fix it ticket. I said "omg". She drove away and I havent got it fixed yet. It's up to $800 now.

2. your car is too quiet, thats why she gave you that ticket. its not LOUD enough
3.maybe if you werent driving like a grandma, you would have gotten away with that exhaust ticket and recieved a nice speeding ticket instead

Just swap it out, pay the $10 and be on your way. I fought one once and it was a huge waste of time. I won the case but I had to pay a "court fee" that was like $20 and then gas to the courthouse and home twice. I then got a letter from the DMV that said that they gave me a point b/c even though I won the decision, I still had to pay something, therefore I was "convicted." It is a huge ****ing crock of ****. Just pay the $10, you'll be much better off.

 

YOu should save up about a months worth of semen from whacking off, but it into a high compression bottle (much like hairspray can)... then rig the can next to your exhaust and so when a cop gets behind you, push the remote switch bottom inside the car to actuacte the nozzle, and then you Insta-Bukakke the cop car behind you!
