Yakima Fairing Install Question

I just got a new Yakima 32" fairing to reduce some wind noise coming from my yakima roof racks. However im running into some problems with the install. For those of you who have WRX wagons with factory raised roof rails, do the sides of fairing hit the front of the roof rails leaving quite a big gap between the fairing an the roof of the car? The landing pads on the bottom of the fairing doesn’t even touch my roof. Any advice on how to fix this? Thanks!

I have a wagon and the Thule fairing (I don't know about Yakima, sorry). Anyway, the thule fairing fit alright with 2 of the 3 the skids gently touching the roof. The third just rest above the roof, but it works fine.

Aren't there some adjustment notches on your model?

I think you need a 28" fairing.

I'll measure mine when I get home. It should fit between the rails and sit right on the roof.

When installing make sure to put those clear sticky deals on the roof. Dude told me I didn't need to worry about it and I have two scuff marks from the pads rubbing on the roof.....pissed.

i have a thule and only 2 of the 4 pads actually touch. not sure if these things were meant to flush up with our roofs since all the settings i have tried don't fit for crap.
