Take it to a shop. That is way too much. They see you coming a mile away. I had my 105,000 mile service done for $500 at Vakamon. I live in Hawaii, so you have to get the most bang for your buck. Don't take it to a dealer.

+1 for LIC .... And their shop is the cleanest I have ever seen any subaru shop. Except for the dirt falling out from under my car. Sorry guys.. I'll get a broom.

For all my major service I go to LIC. I don't even think twice about how much I shell out. I know I'm getting the absolute best work done to my car and I'm not getting ripped off. Plus, if there are any issues (there haven't been) I know they'll get my car back in there and get it taken care of. Total peice of mind.
