Did the scanner find anything on your computer? I'm still thinking some hacked the router at the cafe. Are you still there? If so you could ask someone else on a computer there to try accessing gmail.

mine has been acting weird too...i click an email then it says "redirect loop" then gmail page that says "try using gmail supported browser"

Maybe its their tarp to get you to use chrome?
