NAZIcock does the same thing, only at like 2am. Diff between NASIOC is when they go down they put up a splash screen letting users know what's going on, not just a blank screen that leaves people wondering if their browser is f'ed or what.

 

They're probably doing a backup via mysqldump and/or copying the web files. A site does not have be down just for that if the infrastructure is properly designed. This indicates a poor setup. I can outsource it to donald duck and come back with a better built site without postrelease spamming it than this.
