WTF: Craigslist

Why is it that when I search for an STi (ie: type "sti" in the search field) I get crap like this:

http://www.craigslist.org/sby/car/138217245.html

And this!

http://www.craigslist.org/eby/car/138823199.html

And......

http://www.craigslist.org/nby/car/138496145.html

This really sucks. How stupid can people get??? If I am searching for something like a STi or WRX, what in the hell would I want with a POS like anything above? Does anyone get this?

(1) Because most ppl who goes on craigs list are sex freaks and looking for a quickie

(2) Because many idiots are on craigs list

(3) Because some idiot puts keyword at the bottom of his ad with:

"keywords civic, acura, honda, integra, import, racecar, aem, skunk 2,CRX,CRV,coupe,GS-R,Type-R 90 91 92 93 94 95 96 97 98 99 00 01 02 03 04 05 06 018 nissan, 240sx, 300zx, civic si, integra gsr, gsr, civic, acura, integra mr2, honda, civic, crx, civic, integra, acura, toyota, supra, corolla, greddy, integra, jdm, honda, mr2, 300zx, toyota, mitsubishi, accord, prelude, type r honda, civic, eg, jdm, usdm, type r, coupe , hatch, integra, gsr, swap Honda, Acura, Civic, CRX, Si, Accord, Prelude, Integra, RSX, GSR, Type R, EG, EK, DC2, ITR, WRX, STI, 240sx, 300Z, 350Z Corolla GTS SR5 ko turbo mr2 supra toyota drift jdm jspec n/a coilover corolla gts ae86 ae92jdm jspec drift toyota ae86 hatch kouki gt-s gt s corolla gts wheels, jdm, drift, donuts, donut, steelies, blackies, touge, toyota, ae86, trueno, levin, 4age, 4agze civic si accord jdm type r body kit rsx s2000 toyota, tokiko blue, Redline, rpm, LOW, vtec, v-tec, controller, hatch back "

i dont want to get all *technical* about it, but i think this is how it works. see, search engines look for "text" (ie. words and letters). this is the same "text" that you typed into the "search box".

i apologize if this was way over your head. i know how this computer mumbo jumbo can be very confusing.

Yes but isn't that also called "SPAM" or "Bogus META tags"?

I would hate it if one day I search under keyward "WRX" and buncha **** pops up. Wait... that already happens now... nevermind.

I hope "yin" was being sarcastic...

My "why" was like... Why would someone selling a POS put keywords for cars and stuff waaaay nicer and not really comparable, not actually "how does the iddernet work."

I remembered typing in "white WRX" or "white STi" a couple days ago on CL and for some reason, I found an ad of throwback jerseys and sports apparel. WTF
