WTB: stock DP for 02 wrx

Hi Folks, I'm looking to buy an OEM downpipe with cats so I can pass smog. I've had offers to borrow one, but my GF is harassing me about the fuel smell and "obnoxious" exhaust sounds, so I figure I'd just buy one if someone has an extra one or part out. Thanks !!!

I bet your car doesn't harass you about the fart smell your GF leaves on its seats. Doesn't sound like the DP is your problem

You're right, the car doesn't harass me...lol. The fuel smell is something else, trying to track it down today. I get a p0457 trouble code after I fill up the tank almost every time. Then the smell comes and goes. I turn off the code with a reader, and it doesn't come back till i fill up again. I thought it was an old gas cap issue, so I ordered a new one the other day....same problem though. Someone suggested the fuel pump seal, but not sure. I guess I have to smoke test?

My 03 smells like gas too. Usually on cold starts only. I changed the fuel pump a couple months ago. I suspect it could be coming from a bad seal. If it were a seal I feel like it would smell like gas a lot more inside the car then outside. Maybe

I think I've looked for that line and gave up quickly. The smell doesn't bother me enough yet. If you want to point it out to me I won't contest

Its a recall. Call carlson subaru in rwc and see if they will fix it for free under the recall. If not then pay for it to get done and submit a reciept to SOA.

They won't pay for the uninstall and reinstall half the time though.
