Anyone got one laying around and looking to buy an upipe but don't have enough $$$. i'll be willing to buy your PS2 if it's in good working order. Keep in mind that refurbished PS2's go for $140-ish and a new system goes for $180-ish plus tax.

You might as well buy a new one, recently a new model came out. SPCH-50001, check the box. It has progressive scan, quieter fans, better disc drive, built in IR port, updated drivers, reads CD-R and DVD-R discs ETC. ETC.
