I got a set of the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs around spring, and one of them burned out the other day. Tonight I got pulled over by the CHP for a reminder (thought it was going to be about the speeding I was just doing...), so I figured I should get this taken care of soon. Anyone have 1 9004 silver star or set of any other 9004 bulbs for cheap? TIA for any help.

 

i think u most cheap bulbs can be had on ebay for like ....20 bucks or so shipped...bulbs nowadays are really cheap....well the cheap ones =P

 

I've got some brand new hella 80/90s in 9004 style. If I can find them in my garage, they are yours for 10 bucks. Let me know if you're interested before I start digging for them.

 

I might be interested. What color are they? (sounds stupid, but like white, yellow, blue etc). Also do you know the wattage for them? Don't want to fry my wiring. If youre close to Hayward I could come over and try them out if the packaging is open. Thanks for the reply.

Oh.. the hellas are just plain whites... the wattage is 80 low beamm, 90 high... so if you have plastic housings it may not be a good idea.

 

The whole thing is plastic, so I guess I'll have to pass. I found a set of 9004s that I pulled from my sisters Taurus after it got hit. Thanks anyways.
