I was talking fully loaded...sti starts at 32, so that's still 13k difference

Bear in mind that the STi is an expensive car in the UK. According to Subaru UK's web site, the STi's msrp is 32,995 uk pounds which is just over $53,000. Furthermore, the fuel economy is very poor. Given fuel is almost 3x what we pay here, any vehicle which doesn't get 35mpg or more won't sell well in any numbers.

I lived in the UK until 1997 and then moved out here. Cars, fuel, insurance etc. are all very cheap in comparison with the UK. My English friends view an STi like we would view a Nissan Skyline - Japanese exotica.

I looked it up and I found one that said starting price 32,7xx

But who really cares, I still don't think an extra 10k+ makes it a better buy, average cost of ownership is higher with a bmw, even with their maintenence package

And I don't really think they are comparable cars haha
