Your talking about another Evo, the one you refer to is owned by Wilson and in fact did not get destroyed in the fire however did get a little paint damage on the rear end.

I know the guy that drives it. It isn't the original owner who put that plate on, the original owner sold it to my friend Pat's cousin. Dunno if the mods are still on it or not though. He got it before the STi came out.

Yeah I never really understood the whole Subaru Vs. Mitsubishi thing...it's like Ford vs. Chevy...different preferences for different people.

I'm a CAR enthusiast...I don't care who makes it; if it's good, it's good.

 

I've already seen that plate - on a Justy, so you're not going to be the first to use it.

Someone should get a lic plate that says:


EVO SLYR
EVO SUKS
LOL EVO
LAME EVO
OVE YAG (Gay EVO backwards)

Or you can print out business cards and leave them on the wipers of any evo you see in the parking lots that say things like "Your evo is a piece of crap", or "You drive a souped up lancer, hahah, sucks for you", and you know, things like that.


Of course I wouldn't do such a thing because I love EVOs and almost got one instead of my STi, but I'm very glad I got my STi instead of an EVO.

The EVO guys can do the same and say our STi's are souped up Base model 2.5i's, just as we can make fun of them for being souped up base model lancers... We all have the slow models that our cars are based off of, so I guess making fun of them for that wouldn't make much sense because both Subaru and Mitsu have the crappy base model imprezas/lancer

 

my friend had an sti and blew the pistons cuz he had too much power in it. i'm not exactly sure how much, but enough to blow the engine.

so he moved on to an evo because the engine is made of a different material, i dont quite remember what, and it could hold together up to higher powers. is this true?

my wifes prius is pretty fast actually. i wouldnt say its subaru fast by any means but its acceleration is pretty fluid/consistant all the way up to 95. i hit 101mph once on the 5. it was pretty quite and steady considering the size of the tires.

the traction control bit is a pain in the *** but all in all its not a horrible car.
