the firefighters just shoved all the broken parts into my windsheild (which i dunno if the hole was caused by the fire or the firefighters). it was a suv that i ran into, i hit the bottom of his bumper. there were no visible damage to him besides some paint scratches. i turned to the left as much as i could into the center median hoping to minimize the damage as soon as i realized i wasnt able to stop in time, and at that moment, i completely forgot about downshifting and ebrake to help slow down. it;s something i broke in the right front corner that causes the fire. oh well.

that is the worse thing to watch... seeing your property burn...

at least you are fine.

as a side note, how many of you have a fire extinguisher in your vehicle?

I'm glad to hear you're okay. As others have said, a car can be replaced, but you can't.

There was a fire in the engine bay of my previous car shortly before I was to pick it up after modifying it. Luckily the mechanic was able to put it out quickly and repair the damage. I drove it home with a fire extinguisher on the passenger seat!

+1. That is one of the smartest things you can carry with you. To extinguish flames in your vehicle or in someone else's.

Something in the right front, that would be powersteering. Which I have found to be very flammable. Reason why I now carry an extinguisher.

Sorry about the car, but good thing you are ok.

unless the pressure is lost, you shouldnt need to replace it...

other than to get the blinged all chromed out one...
