That sucks. Sorry 'bout your car. I really despise a lot of Sac area drivers, especially the semis. People just seem really careless around here. I've run over so many things on the highways in this area.
The biggest surprise is that the CHP actually came out and stopped. Lucky you. The only time I ever talk to them is when they want to give me a ticket...

AWD: Yep. Cops in my area are completely worthless. I was really surprised at how quick he showed up - must have not had any breaks scheduled or something.
Well, I'm going to go check out my ins policy and try to hook up a rental for my trip to vegas. Maybe I can score a Maxima or something

I think so. Found out I've got coverage for $25/day and $750 max. At $25/day that is 30 days. My car *should* be fixed by then. They said they'd get my estimate taken care of today, so we'll find out how bad she really is.
I'm seriously so depressed. I'm "working" from home today so there's no one here and I'm just down. This sucks. Think I'm going to go to the gym and see if that helps me.

Might be a total. So should I try to get it totaled? I dunno if I want another one or not, but if I did get out from other this car it might not be bad - it would help with my job loss (potential) next year...

I mean technically the car is only worth about $18k...even though I just bought it. Dunno what they'll do. They guy said the part list in WAY long though. Wonder what all got killed that I couldn't see.

I doubt:
a. it will be totaled
b. I'll get an STi if it is.
Most likely I'll try and find a hot deal on a Red or Sonic Yellow '03 or maybe a silver '04..dunno.

I bet they will just pay it since its only 50% of the value of the car. I would sugest using that money and get some good aftermarket body parts tho
