Cops are like guard dogs, they sense fear and attack it The unfortunate thing when dealing with police is that they usually resort to intimidation tactics. The result is a tendency to feel guilty or afraid even when you have nothing to hide.

Just remember, you have the right to say no to unwarranted searches, and to stand up for yourself...without being rude of course

The only time I've gotten cited is when I didn't totally stick to non-incrimination. So it can help, but in the end it comes down to how far the officer wants to exercise their discretion based on the evidence at hand.

 

Great videos, thanks for sharing. It really does make sense, looking back at all the times the police let me go after being pulled over in my WRX/STi, I never incriminated myself.

On a side note, that law professor is a great speaker - those videos are long but they went by really quick for me. I wish all teachers/professors were that good..... I would be addicted to school!
