South Africa probably isn't going to meet any of the infrastructure requirements, so I have a feeling it won't be there. I am planning to go wherever it is. I hope to catch a US and an El Salvador(if they get in) game. I wish the Irish could make it in, but I won't hold my breath. That would actually be pretty cool to see all of my bloodline play (Ireland, El Salvador, Italia and US). Soccer is my absolute favorite game. I play 2-3 times a week and enjoy every second of it. I am going to try and catch some of the US vs. Mexico game tonight. I have a feeling Mexico isn't going to the World Cup this year.

I'd go if it wasn't in south africa... If it was in Europe I'd probably go since I'd most likely have a place to stay since my family is scattered around europe now due to school and work which benefits me greatly.

I'd be afraid of being jacked in South Africa... Can't even bring my own guns, f' that. South Africa has more crime then Liberia! I can't wait till the world cup comes back to the Americas so there isn't a crazy time difference. How sick would it be if San Francisco held it? They can play games all over the bay area, like at Standford, Berkeley, etc. Man, I'd be all over that ish

I think if it isn't happening in South Africa, the back up is England. The next world cup is set for Brazil (definately going to be there).

Spain looked great today. They are going to be very tough to beat in 2010. Xavi is so amazing. He is one of the best unknown players in soccer (he ranked 5th in the 2008 player of the year rankings).
