I was in Lemoore, which is not too far from there as the crow flies.
It hit us pretty hard. I was inside of the brand new Navy Hospital down there, and it was a strange rolling quake. We went outside, and it kept on going for awhile...over 30 seconds.
When we went back inside, the lights that hang down like 20 feet from the high ceiling were swinging probably 10 feet.
All those poor people in Paso Robles...I have some family there, I wonder if they are OK.
There was one pretty good jolt towards the end of the quake...it was cool...

my girlfriend has family all over down there...paso...los osos. I was freaking....got back to the cabin after boarding and flipped on the tube and saw the report..then it took me 2 hours to get a hold of anyone.......thank god everyone was fine but damn..that's a big quake.
