He couldn't even look over when I pulled up next to him because he was probably trying to save his pride while his female passenger was probably in shock and yelling at him cause she was facing him. I didn't event attempt to accelerate or catch up. This guy even ran red lights on sunset blvd.

Yeah, our lil cars are tough, but I'm still surprised the guy was able to drive away, esp all fast+furious, like the OP described. Let's just say I'm real familiar w/the area in question... And knuckleheads spinning out/hopping over islands/knocking down the lightpoles. The latter used to happen every other month or so until they put the pylons and islands at apex of of sunset+lake merced blvd.

In fact, one of my HS buddies was one of those knuckleheads. After our prom, he took out the lightpole/stop sign that used to be at that apex. Coincidentally, he was in a Ford Mustang droptop. LOL The City finally gave up several years ago and stopped replacing the pole cuz so many fools were taking them out.

The entire stretch of road from Sunset/Lake Merced to Lake Merced (near the Westlake/Daly City) border seems pretty sketchy. Turns, apexes, long stretches of straight road with no islands, and that infamous turn on the bottom edge of Lake Merced.

In fact, a guy that went to my middle school and high school crashed and died there.

 

Gotta drive safe in the rain.

I've learned my lesson, hopefully that guy has now learned his.
