So im having a certain issue with my wipers. lately i've bought 2pairs of new wipers and for some reason they are not wiping correctly. i've also notice that the arm is not as tight as others(all make and models) meaning the spring on the arms. does anyone have similar issues and maybe some advice on this.

I've never had a problem with the PIAA Wiper Blades. I've got a set of Super Sporza's for both Driver's Side & Passenger Side (Passenger Side is larger then the normal 17" blade as the Super Sporza's smallest size is a 19" blade I believe - Might be an 18", but pretty certain it was a 19" blade IIRC).

The ones Kragen gives away as a promotional gift in the trash can out front seem to work pretty good.

I HIGHLY recommend either the '09 Forester Aero blades (for Foresters) or the '08 STi wiper blades (for Imprezas). THE BEST wiper blades I've ever had and you can just buy replacement rubber when it's time to replace them. I originally got them for my '04 FXT but have recently picked them up for the wifey's '00 RS. You won't be sorry.

Don't buy Bosch. The quality is not what it once was. I bought two pairs last year, one for me and one for my wife and they are both streaking already. Waste of money. I had bought some Bosch for my old wrx wagon and they lasted three years... sometime in the past 5 years the quality went to ****. My buddy that works at an auto shop told me the same thing - that the quality went way down. He replaced my wifes wipers with $7 generics and they are just as good if not better.
My next wipers will be Rain-X or the $7 generics.

I really like my Valeo Ultimates that I got B1G1F at Tire Rack. However, I'm comparing them to teh 6 year old OEM wipers that were absolutely atrocious.

I'm completely serious about the Forester Aero Blades. Case in point:

Yes, 22" Driver's Side & 17" Passenger Side is correct as that is the OEM fitment. Like I was saying in my post, I went with a larger size on the Passenger Side only because they didn't make the PIAA Super Sporza in the smaller 17" size. I just wanted to have a matching set of wiper blades on my car rather then running different styles on the Driver's Side vs Passenger Side.

I bought some Rain-X Latitude blades. Best blades i've ever used, but then again, I've always used some pretty cheap crap that squeaked and shuddered when there's not enough liquid on the windshield. So far so good, even when it's raining sideways lately.
