Window Squeek
i was wondering how many with WRXs have window squeeking problems. this morning i went and got mine fixed at the dealer ship and bout 5 hours later is was squeeking even worse than before (guess what dealership). i was wondering if any of you have gotten it fixed and if so where, so i can actually get it done right. if i take it in 3 different times with the same problem reoccuring will i get a new window motor and window? whats that policy there is if the same prob aint fixed you get a new one? o and dont tell me take it to stevens creek. . . . . again
Took mine to Santa Cruz. I think they called it a dust guard or something that gets dirty on the windows and causes the squeek.

When I got my 2000 2.5RS from a private owner (purchased lately), it had some squeeking. Then after a while, it was gone. It's not much of a big deal to me, but it is a tad annoying.

just take it to dealer. its part of warrenty so no cost to you. Just got mines fixed yesterday at ROn Price Motors in San Bruno & squeak is gone!

Clean the window underneath the triangular rubber portion near the side mirror and it will go away. But the squeak is also weather tempermental.
