Ive got nothing against the guy personally, but what Rich (bushido) says is completely true. Record Companies will sell anything they can market.

Considering all the buzz around this guy I can see why they are going to sell it. I'm gonna let you in on a little secret as to why the CD will sell, and sell well:

BECAUSE THE AMERICAN PUBLIC RESEMBLES A MONGOLOID CONVENTION.

After saying that I must apologize to people with Down's Syndrome everywhere, because that's more of an insult to them. The only reason this dude was so funny the first time was because you could see him, and you could see that there was not a hint of pretense in him. He was just up there doing what he wanted to. Well, on a CD you don't see as much as you hear generally, and also, the joke has gotten old. During their video excerpts of him it won't be as passionate and therefor funny as his original act.

I could probably name a dozen bands in the Bay Area alone that deserve to have the backing and distribution of a major label, and who get's it? A joke... a novelty that'll be not even a footnote in music history 2 years from now.

And then people wonder why music is a massive lump of homogenized unimaginitive $hit.

Now, somebody bring me a ladder so I can get off this huge fekkin soap-box...

I had also thought of that but decided to focus more on the money-grubbing jerks at the record companies. But yeah, they're exploiting the hell out of this innocent (and perhaps somewhat naive) FOBy dude. And they'll dump him like yesterdays paper as soon as he stops making them a certain amount of money. Let the RIAA and everyone associated with it die.
